A Joint Venture is an agreement between two or more parties to work on a project together. It can be a long term or short term relationship. Often the Joint Venture Partners all bring something different to the table that help complete a circle that gives them the ability to do great things.
You have skills and knowledge unique to you… I have skills and knowledge unique to me. None of us are good at everything. You might be very good at programming. I'm good at marketing. Together we can create and market things better then we could apart.
I have many partners and numerous Joint Ventures going. Some are small, quick projects and others are long term and on going.
To give you an example, I have a long term project with 2 partners. We run a very successful membership site. We provide our members tools, software, source code, informational products to resale, private label rights, Adwords training, access to a private business community, hosting, one on one business coaching to help someone get started, improve or grow their online business and a lot more. We have actually partnered with others to bring products and services to enhance our core membership giving them bonus memberships on top of all this.
The reason we are able to create an awesome site is because all the partners bring different things to the table. On our own we're good at certain things whether that's marketing, product development, customer relations or numerous other areas of business. Together with our combined experience, skills and knowledge we can bring a variety of things to our members and make this membership way better then we could create on our own.
You certainly could hire out or outsource to get certain things done, but that takes money and often it's better to have someone that has a vested interest in what you are doing.
If you have something of value to offer another individual or group, you can make more money by teaming up and working on something together. And you are stronger together and will have an advantage in the market you are in.
Take notice of the various e-mails you get from internet marketers or online entrepreneurs. Take a close look at some of the very successful businesses online. Look very closely at product launches. You will be able to see signs of a mutual benefit somewhere. Internet marketers and entrepreneurs work together and make money together. They help each other.
Often it is very subtle and behind the scenes, but realize that more people work together online then you know.
Get involved with online communities. Help others out in forums or privately. Find forums online that are filled with people with complementary talents. These are great places to find partners. Look for the needs of others and offer to fill those needs by asking them if they'd like to team up.
Seek out like minded individuals and communities... people that are doing what you are doing online. Don't be afraid to shoot someone a Private Message or contact them through their websites to offer a Joint Venture. Be professional and polite. Simply provide them a short summary of the idea and have them contact you to discuss it further if they are interested.
Eventually you'll find yourself with a circle of entrepreneurs and marketers. A number of people you can turn to when you need to get something done or have an idea for a project. Often one Joint Venture starts a friendship and long term relationship. You may end up doing multiple projects with the same parties over time.
What's really exciting is sometimes it finds you. The joint venture comes out of the wood work. Whether you are succeeding or struggling, keep working hard at what you are doing and someday your resources, abilities, talents and expertise will meet up with another individuals resources, abilities, talents and expertise and big things could happen.
However it happens, you will be able to achieve big things with the right partners and make big money!
